Car be gone!

Hello car lovers, and haters. Over the past couple months, and especially last few weeks I’ve been having a lot of conversations with people about their cars. Especially the cars they are trying to sell, for any variety of reasons, but are unable to sell them to anyone, cars that even TUC will not buy because they have 7 in stock and are unable to shift them. And one idea that popped into my head was a system of selling the car for a fraction of the purchasing price to an NPC (25%-50% range), just so you can get rid of the damn thing, maybe with a condition that you’ve had to own it for at minimum a couple months. I know this could potentially lead to people just selling them to the NPC instead of TUC, but I feel as long as the payout is a lot less then TUC would pay for it, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Penthouse/Apartments

Major QOL Bugs The Penthouses & apartments are a great addition to LS with features you can not get in a normal house. However they have serious issues that effect QOL greatly on a daily basis. LIFT NOT WORKING: At least twice a week after waking up in the penthouse and trying to use the elevator to access the garage I will be standing there for anywhere between 30 seconds to 4-5 minutes. There have been times where I get sick of waiting so I take the lift outside which works fine, I take a car half way across the city then I’m teleported back to the garage when it is finally done. TRACKING CARS: When your car has been “Towed by locals“ usually you just track your vehicle and it will re-appear where it last was. For any car parked in the Penthouse garage this is not the case. it will instead ping at legion square with your car no where to be seen. STANCED CARS: If you have a stanced car and park it at the penthouse the stance will temporarily be disabled until you park it in a public garage and take it out again. This means you either have paid 40k for something you can’t enjoy on your car or you might as well park it somewhere else instead. SELLING: At the moment it is impossible to transfer your penthouse to someone else. If you decide you do not want it anymore you have to not pay taxes and get hit with a hefty fine and loose an up to 1.1 million dollar asset. If transferring/Selling to other players is not viable I think an option to sell to the locals etc would be a great idea at maybe a 50-60 percent value of what you purchased it for.

Nitrous Script Change

The nitrous script in echo is not useful and generally blinding when u actually use it because of the onscreen effects it produces, Ive had alot of people say they would like for Nitrous to be an actual viable option for not just racing but just general use kind of alike the harnesses change that was implemented not that long ago and is now made harnesses pretty much a must in every car. I think the nitrous script should be changed as the current script is generally outdated and is hardly ever used by anyone in the server and it would bring more business to mechanic shops in the server. A script that could be used for inspiration could be the nopixel 3.0 nitrous which doesnt have any silly on screen effects and gives a slight boost to only acceleration when coming out of corners and is generally not used for top speed as in the video linked below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBUghQrURpI&t=66s

New Job "Parcel Delivery" with aircraft

Desc: A new job that players can sign up for, similar to trucking or GoPostal where all they have to do is take a vehicle from point to point and drop off packages. The difference being: this job would utilize player’s pilots license, utilize aircraft, and pay a little more thereby benefiting the average legal citizen that has gone as far as to get a license. Reason: Currently, the only benefit from having a pilots license is the ability to fly unbothered by engines cutting out, and access to the aircraft rental NPC. I see this job, which would hopefully pay more, be something you can actually use the pilot’s license for. We would have more traffic on the ATC radio, more aircraft in the air, give interactions with EMS & Police if something were to go wrong, etc. Extra Info: I could see deliveries being made to each of the helipads in Los Santos, as well as various locations North of LS that might require bush-landings. This would utilize one of the regular helicopters, nothing wild like the cargo-bob, unless there was a small chance of the cargobob being spawned to transport an entire vehicle. If a cargobob is allowed, even if for a small percetage, I feel this would build a bit of trust between staff and clean citizens, who get to fly the cargobob for a bit, even if for a regular job. Drop off vehicle. Return to delivery base of operations. Cargobob is removed, back to regular heli.

Criminal Job Suggestion: Organ Trafficking

Description: As an Organ Trafficker, players engage in the dangerous underground business of harvesting and selling organs. They operate discreetly, relying on covert locations, hidden surgical spots, and under-the-radar buyers. The focus is on staying off the radar, with players having to carefully manage their operations to avoid law enforcement. Job Features: Kidnapping: Players will need to abduct NPCs and transport them to hidden locations (i.e. Abandoned buildings/Warehouses/Hospitals) for the harvesting process. These kidnappings will be a high-risk operation, requiring careful planning to avoid detection. Organ Harvesting: Once the victim is secured, Players perform organ harvesting using specialized, illicit medical tools. The procedure will be scripted with a mini-game or timed mechanic, where players must carefully extract organs to ensure the victim doesn't die. Failure could result in a loss of the organ and alert law enforcement. Organ Storage: After harvesting, organs must be stored properly in coolers, iceboxes, or refrigerated vans, which are discreet and can be hidden in plain sight. Players will need to ensure that the organs are transported, using decoy vehicles and hideouts, without raising suspicion and avoid police searches. Selling Organs: Players will deliver the organs to discreet NPCs in small, secretive transactions. These buyers are NPCs and could be dodgy doctors, black-market surgeons, or individuals with connections to hospitals, who prefer to keep their actions hidden. Reputation and Risk: Success in the organ trade will build a reputation within the Black Market. However, failure to properly harvest organs or get caught by the authorities could result in heavy penalties. Reason for the Suggestion: Adding the "Organ Trafficking" job expands EchoRP’s criminal ecosystem by introducing a new layer of illicit activity that emphasizes secrecy, risk, and the Black Market. Criminal jobs are the backbone of the server's darker side, and introducing a high-stakes, discreet operation like organ trafficking offers players a fresh, immersive challenge. It would provide players with an alternative to traditional criminal jobs like drug dealing and arms trafficking, which are often more widely known and easier to trace. This new job requires strategic thinking, stealth, and an ability to operate under the radar, all of which will make for dynamic and engaging criminal roleplay. By adding more diverse criminal jobs, EchoRP can offer a wider range of experiences, catering to different player interests and enriching the overall criminal scene. Additional Information: After researching EchoRP’s current features, I found that the server already includes a criminal activity related to kidnapping such as hostages for heists. With the current features already in place, it could be adapted to implement an organ trafficking job. Here’s how the job can easily integrate with the server: EchoRP already has scripts for Kidnapping, Hostage situations, and Illegal activities like human trafficking, which are often part of the existing criminal progression (e.g., store robberies and heists). This suggests that the infrastructure for an "Organ Trafficking" job would fit seamlessly within the current criminal landscape​ Additionally, the server supports Black Market Trading and Illicit goods sales, which can be adapted to this job. Players can easily sell harvested organs to underground buyers or shady doctors using the same mechanics already in place for other illegal goods. The use of secret locations like hidden warehouses or private medical clinics would make this job feel immersive and grounded in the world EchoRP already provides​ The criminal job script for stealth operations (e.g., smuggling) and RNG-based rewards (to keep things engaging and unpredictable) is already in development for other illicit activities. These could be applied to organ trafficking, where players could navigate through discreet transport methods to move organs from harvest sites to buyers without detection from law enforcement​ By expanding into organ trafficking, EchoRP could further enhance its underground crime scene, giving players who enjoy discrete and morally ambiguous roles the opportunity to immerse themselves in something beyond traditional crimes like bank heists or drug dealing. It would add depth to the criminal element of the server without introducing mainstream syndicates or networks, keeping things low-key, gritty, and true to the server’s roleplay ethos

/e cig and /c cigar were changed by civ expansion and haven't been changed back

Description: Since the civ expansion, if you do /e cig or /e cigar, you briefly take out whichever you emoted to smoke and then stop very shortly after. Before the expansion, it was a prop emote where you would place a cigarette or cigar in your mouth. Since there’s already the items and other emotes for smoking, it would be great for these to get changed back to being prop related emotes. Reproduction: Step 1: do /e cig or /e cigar Step 2: watch as you smoke it briefly instead of just putting it in your mouth Expected result: Being able to prop a cigarette or cigar Actual result: Smoking for all of 2 seconds

Arcade script doesn't seem to be working.

Description : After placing down an arcade in my house, because I used to love spending time on that thing, I tried playing a few of the games. Some of them still work, such as pacman etc. But others like Pokémon Ruby, Sonic, Kirby etc all throw up an error. Reproduction stepts : 1). Place an arcade in your home / business / property. 2). Start up a game, some work some don’t. 3). Experience no games because the game you wanted to play don't work ;(. 4). Get the error message : [ 743485] [ GTAProcess] CrBrowserMain/ Uncaught RuntimeError: null function or function signature mismatch (blob:nui://erp-arcade/e814a6e4-4cbf-43fe-811a-34fcc2e273b4:1) Expected behavior : To have certain games working on the arcade. It didn't used to be broken, loved working up my saves while hanging out with people in the house. Screenshots - Can add more if necessary, didn’t want to flood the report with pictures.
