So yesterday was definitely something, an absolute chaotic mess from every side involved. From the people just trolling, spamming old evidence and staff got very defensive very fast. We were asked to provide how we felt but it quickly spiraled out of hand in general feed back.
A lot of us are genuinely concerned this doesn’t just get brushed under the rug and would love to hear staff’s perspective uninterrupted maybe even through a community meeting. You had people arguing points that were already made or not relevant any more. I think the best thing to do would be to have a public sit down. Staff lays out all the facts in one clear post/talk. Then from there genuinely take into account people’s concerns. I saw valid points from all sides.
Yesterday I learned that the moderator in trouble wasn’t actually spectating the shootouts in no clip but was rather just watching multiple discord streams at once. ^This is key info that kept getting washed away. I also learned sadly that most of the people banned will just eventually return and probably do the same thing. Using discord and having an IGL during wars costing other gangs MILLIONS of dollars, and countless hours spent to feed people cheating in one form or another. Triads as a whole should not be punished but it feels like the damage caused warrants more than just a temporary ban.
I also think most of the people banned yesterday should be unbanned. Not all but some people did not say anything to deserve a ban.
