Support your players
After reading the announcement of the roll back for items I understand that it's simply not possible to refund the items lost. That being said 10 food and drink, a short range radio and a phone is barely even scratching the surface of time and long hours put into our life in the city. Is there not a way to send players a kick start in a payment towards characters accounts to help soften the blow of loosing everything they had? Some of us lost $100,000s in this roll back, not only in our accounts but also items lost. Especially with it being the holiday season. It's a blow to everyone. All I'm saying with not knowing what's been leaked and if bad code is still in, it would show good faith in your community to help everyone get back on their feet instead of starting from scratch again.

Tax relief for a month, lower the price for guns and crime items, I don’t think giving cash would be too smart unless it’s just enough to buy a Adv.Radio laptop ect

But loosing just the radio laptop and gun I keep on me daily is a 20k hit. All in all I’ve probably lost 300k in total. Like others said though I’m just greatful we have a server to come back to

I won't even know what I lost for another week and I had tons of stuff in my place. I also earned about 75k over the last 2 weeks that'll also be gone. The only thing I'm worried about is my collectibles and pocket pets. I can get everything else back.

i'm down about 200k and i'm perfectly fine with having to start from where i was two weeks ago. the only thing that impacted me really was buying an import, and now i have to save up cash again and get it back within the next month. but shit happens, everyone is down a lot so it's an even playing field. there's always good RP to be had when down bad, and as roleplayers we should be looking to explore that RP avenue and not complain about pixels.

I lost probably 150k in items and 120k just in cash alone. That being said I think the max any cash should be given is maybe 20-25k and even then is a big maybe. It’s a terrible situation and sucks my situation is definitely better than others as all my stuff is paid for and I have some cash to stay supporting myself it’s just such a tricky thing to comp. 10-25k doesn’t seem that bad to all the players who logged in, I don’t know if that’s possible though.

Personally, I dislike the fact we’re all sticking around & supporting Echo (most of us through the wipe a few months back as well) and a lot of us probably donating money every month to the server. But it’s more important to staff that no-one wrongfully receives too much money in compensation, so just screw everyone else 🙄 Even though staff could easily deny extremely high compensation requests & only accept ones within reason. Either way, it’s a literal video game. Making your supporters who were massively inconvenienced deal with it because staff is afraid to accidentally give someone “too much digital money” is ridiculous.
