Posting guns on socials
I have spent a while in the server and every so often I scroll through the social media the server has the offer, I would say almost most of the time there is a gang posting a picture of them holding illegal guns, maybe I just have a bitter taste in my mouth when I see it from a character Perspective, but also how I see this on a roleplay spectrum.
I have a sheer understanding that gangs have to apply to get their gangs certified in the server, to even affiliate as a gang, and I understand the roleplay and depth to the gangs are required.
This to me just does not feel proven, I understand that the police can raid them but I think the roleplay concern of flexing guns on social media (don't even need to be in a gang) is just downright pathetic.
I also knew about a gang gunfight/war, once the shootout had happened its all posted over the twitter saying 2-0 etc etc, this really is not call of duty, I understand in some real life situations gangs may brag about xyz, but they would get their account closed almost immediately.
This is my personal opinion and if anyone thinks otherwise then you are entitled too, I wont be up for discussion.
Its basically asking to be robbed or raided.

it would be interesting of staff decided to implement terms of service for instagram. i doubt a company would want people using their app to show off illegal weapons.

So many Anonymous Users but someone hit the nail on the head, not everyone is going to want to play a smart criminal who knows how to avoid being raided, some people want to the RP that comes with being raided too

The primary concern lies in the lack of respect or fear towards law enforcement or possibility of police raids.
Additionally, the Department of Justice consistently denies the majority of these warrants, a trend that has persisted for a considerable period.
It's perplexing that such a culture is acceptable without any action, whether IC or OOC.

Let them post, let them get raided. If he ain’t hurting your rp then who cares. Twitter beef will always happen. IRL there are cases about people making songs about killing people and them going to jail (young thug) it gives cops something to do

Lmao this is just crazy everyone looking for something to complain about these days. Just keep scrolling if it bothers you that much no one said you had to look at them keep scrolling. IRL criminal do post insta pics of them with guns all day long and I’m from Canada I couldn’t imagine the states where guns are easier to get their hands on. When it comes to gang wars etc this is still a video gang wars at the end of the day and a big part of the community are gang members who take pride in their gang. We all know gang wars are happening we all know it’s up to a certain amount of fights …. This is still a video game at the end of the day too and people are here to have fun just because it’s not your type of rp doesn’t meant it doesn’t belong in echo.

I am not looking for something to complain about, its just how I feel in terms of the RP, I get its a game I do trust me, but I am trying to adhere to the standard or what roleplay is reciprocated in this server, because I genuinely have no idea.
I also think the gun flashing is way over done.
