Holdout/shootout Culture

For the last two years I’ve noticed that echo has cemented a culture involving cop shoot outs that has been promoted from both sides. what I mean by this is that a majority of shootouts Vs Cops are always in super OP spots Vs the pd because that’s the only way it can reliably be done.

Both sides are at fault for this but a few changes could help promote a more fair and diverse experience for both sides.

  1. PD should only be allowed to shoot OUT of cop cars when being shot at from another vehicle. Too often then not PD send hundreds of rounds out of cars with no regards to safety public saftey. It’s pretty unrealistic and makes PD seem kind of wreck less.

  2. The biggest reason these crims use super OP spots is airone. Anytime there’s a shootout airone always lands above or behind and demolishes the crims. Personally it’s the main reason I consider these spots for crime as how broken air one is and cops cheese the low fuel rate by drinking coffee and using jerry cans completely by passing the fuel timer. Any chance airone gets to land it does really hindering crims chances.

  3. Crims need to not let everything go to a shootout aswell. the reasons to shoot over a vangies and fleeca are low.

  4. The 2nd wave should come after 3 minutes regardless. Too many times has that 60 second timer started and crims who WANT to leave get caught as a punishment for crims who DONT leave and loot.

  5. With the fact that’s it’s only pistol right now an open gunfight on the street is a death sentences Vs 12 cops and air one, autos when?

Just a few things I noticed that if addressed could make the server better for both sides. It’s a game after all so shooting shouldn’t be discouraged but also shouldn’t be a priority. However to feel like we have a chance Vs pd we as crims HAVE to resort to the same 4 spots.
