General dissatisfaction with interactions with PD recently

I would say about half of my interactions I've had within the past week have been pretty upsetting. This includes anything from a chase to just talking to them. I've experienced aggressive pitting early on in a chase, getting voice id'd. Just today an officer authorized to box out our car while our driver was experiencing a head pop and none of us were able to switch into the driver seat. Generally it's just upsetting to experience these kinds of things because it takes the fun out of things. Not to mention when speaking to officers they speak to me as if they've already decided that i was the one to commit the crime. It just makes me personally feel as if there's no point in negotiating or discussing with the cops. In a way it feels like I'm just playing a game of cops and robbers rather than rping in a city.

I also fully understand how difficult it might be to play a cop character and that it is literally their job to catch criminals. All criminals probably give shit to the cops for obvious reasons but its discouraging when every time I speak to a cop it sounds and feels like they don't even want to bother with my character and just want to get the arrest over with. This is also coming from someone who has no experience in playing a cop character so insights of what it is like would definitely be appreciated.

Also just wanted to note that I have had good interactions with some officers (not sure which ones exactly) and they were genuinely enjoyable.
