Current State of Crime and PD interactions
It takes a lot for me actually want to say something like this but its been happening far too much to let slide. Its gonna spark up the same Cop vs Crim argument all over again but this isnt for that.
Recently the last 3 weeks of jobs PD interactions have been at an all time low for me. Instant tazing and cuffing bubble pitting a car 3 minutes in a chase and just cuffing as you climb out. Being told "Dont taze him anymore youve tazed him enough he might have a heart attack" Just to be spam tazed the second the first pick up car pulls up. If crims did a plan three minutes into a chase they would be banned. Cops can ram into you at 120 30 seconds in disable your car and when you say WTF they tell you sorry while they cuff you, It has repeatedly felt like all PD is doing is just chasing pings and ending everything as fast as they can so they can go the next one. Crims wait HOURS to do a job and no one enjoys waiting 4+hours to have a 2 minute chase then spend 40 minutes in jail. I understand PD has a job to do and they can do that job well while promoting decent RP for both sides. if PD has the units to chase then let the crims run for a bit, if the chase is just starting let them get in a car if they flip. Obviously if its a long chase or multiple swaps you should have less liberties with this. Cops get mad when crims do getaways that they cant chase but its starting to get to the point where most crims dont even want pd to have a chance at them out side of cars. This makes it so crims are doing more and more W plans meaning both sides suffer. Feels very W chasing oriented. Spam tazing and tackling
Also can we have flipping cars take less time, a new cuffing mechanic or make it so a third eye to cuff or something more consistent. With the UI lag from the server these last few months and how desyncy ive been never been cuffed more running away after tackle then these last few weeks. People are being cuffed running away on the other side of cars. LOWER how long it takes to place someone in a car even with coffee it stil is like 4 seconds.
Just some concerns ive had and that alot of other people in the community had. IC Cops should try to catch you but OOC it shouldnt be about ending it as fast as you can.

PinnedWe appreciate the feedback here and want to assure everyone that this is not taken lightly or discredited in the slightest bit.
The staff team has always been involved in the PD and Criminal aspects of the server, either via their own characters IC or just by monitoring OOC via spectating or dealing with tickets and/or player reports, whether they’re being brought forward by our player base or by us in order to gain more context from both sides whenever things don’t seem to be up to standards.
Providing us with specific examples of when and how things aren’t quite enjoyable for you guys, such as the ones mentioned in this thread is of huge help and it allows us to push PD towards a better state so for that, we thank you!
PD is a huge faction, filled with great roleplayers and mechanics, as well as plenty of In Character powers and liberties, that should be mostly aimed at enabling and empowering RP for everyone else around, not just for themselves. Needless to say, just like Crims, PD is quite crucial for the well being of our server but sometimes it can become too much to deal with from a Crim POV which is why constructive feedback provided here can go a very long way.
We are going to keep a closer eye on these interactions and ensure that the PD isn’t pushing it too far in any way shape or form. Tickets will be opened whenever a rule is broken and situations will be dealt with appropriately. Our staff members are always encouraged and expected to proactively spectate any heated situations, especially PD-Crim ones such as heists, chases, gunfights, etc. in order to ensure a high standard of RP and interactions between our community members.
As always, we also strongly encourage each and every one of you to reach out via tickets for any suspected rule breaks, questions or anything that might help bridge the gap between PD and Crims and ensure a better quality of life and RP for everyone involved. We are here to listen and help!

Yep. It’s getting dangerously close to being outright unbearable sometimes. There are some good eggs but there are definitely more bad eggs. There is less and less room for fun and rp. And going back to what I said yesterday too, some cops are so focused on W chasing that they ignore getting hit head on by a civ and just drive off. I think the level of RP on both sides and just in the server in general needs to be worked on massively

Agree, PD has even been boxing people driving Pantos after 30 seconds. its getting bad most people are not enjoying the state of how fast jobs are being pushed to end. 😀
