Character Whitelisted Jobs Restrictions
Suggestion: I believe that something needs to be put in place about having multiple characters in high positions in different department and even just one 1 character.
Reason: Firstly, it is unfair to have 1 character or multiple characters in High Positions in PD, DOJ, EMS, SAO and such. Why? It takes the opportunity for people who main their character in that department and have the time to focus on that RP instead of you being HC in other departments and needing to worry about everything else. This can also cause a conflict in roleplay as being a HC in PD, HC in EMS, SAO, PA etc is just unrealistic as hell and unfair.

I love the fact this was rejected without a good reason on why it’s not being looked into when it’s obviously an issue people are experiencing in the server and causes them not to fly in and RP

Probably the same reason they won’t allow a government IC to be set bcuz they know a lot of powerful people IC would be removed from their positions because they abuse their powers and get away with it

Especially when someone is a CEO and then a higher up manager of another business. It's ridiculous.

Completely agreed, as far as I'm concerned people should be limited to 1 WL job per character; it's not right to see someone have a job as a Corrections Officer and then simultaneously hold an attorney position in the State Attorney's Office, as one example I've witnessed personally. It's a different story if those are on different characters (still questionable, but acceptable at least), however doing all that on the same character feels completely off.

that one inherently creates an ethics conundrum as they can use their positions as DOC officers to gather information for a case they're involved with as SAO. idk for some reason we've accepted conflicts of interest

Completely agree, being involved in jobs that you can use as an advantage along with just having multiple high positions in departments is just ridiculous and unfair. And I really hate how nothing get's done about it IC which I also see why because these people are also the person you would speak to about sorting this which they won't fire themselves so something needs to be done OOC.

i think there shouldn't be any doubling up regardless of rank. if people are looking for another job for when they want a break from their gov job, there's plenty of player owned businesses that are hiring. they can also group together and open their own if they want. it allows for people to get to know the character outside the government role.
