Bikes during chases

I've noticed a lot of LQRP with Bike chases, I know that a post has already been made about wheelies from both parties which is a good point I'm not gonna mention because it's being dealt with. but I've noticed that Cops have been putting bikes on primary and it's been multiple times where they've tried to overtake us and near enough kill themselves in the process, to be honest, it's just a buzz kill in general since we could get code ambered for it, Possibly red. I tried mentioning something on the server and nobody wanted to hear it. It's coming to the point where it feels like the people responsible are trying to bait us into hitting them.

Personally, I don't really think a bike unit should be chasing a Jester RR while they are primary because in terms, they are just putting their life at risk by kissing the bumpers.

It's usually not intentional if they are doing this to be honest.

Bikes also either have to be primary or at the back they can't be mid pack so that would explain why it's primary.

As a cop on the server the jester RR is well known for just leaving cop cars for dust only the bike and heat can really keep up with it so yeah if bike is allowed to be deployed for that call and it's a jester then it's to be expected as otherwise we struggle to give you a chase at all.

Not to mention they don't want crims using bikes

As someone who plays cop and does moto, if it's genuinely an accident hitting them, and you make it very apparent that it was, the chase would continue as normal. It's not your fault some people on moto are kinda dumb.

But I would also say it's not really LQRP. We have SOPs for different scenarios that would allow Moto. If they use a bike for a crime that isn't needing Moto, then we can remove their cert. But if you're robbing a bank, bank truck, paleto or something else big, it's not uncommon to have them there. They are just dumb for driving it like a moron

      Understandable,

Personally, I would think it's NVL because if they do try and overtake the bike and they are getting close towards the car. I believe that's them not considering their life and risking it over them being stupid as you say.

From my experience, I've seen bikes at 80% of my chases, and they've not really been that major of a crime either. I think the Police have been throwing every cert they can in every chase I've been in recently.

I understand that every bike user isn't like this and I'm not throwing it at everyone with a bike cert. I'm just throwing my feedback from my personal experiences between chases hopefully the people who are fucking around and baiting do get caught out and removed from the cert in general. :)

But these actions do escalate the situation even further such as if this person did clip the car and they code ambered us, We would have to deal with the situation as it comes. It's not like we could get the tire repaired on the spot, such as if we wanted to do a swap this would count as a swap towards our next amber even though this guy fucked up on the bike. With some people, they might just lose their temper and shoot back. But this is how bad it can escalate to a strike and a code red.

from what i know, pd has been running into a lot of bike swaps lately and is the reason for bikes being in chases. as for them being bad at distancing and causing their own crashes, if you're able to record your gameplay you're always welcome to submit tickets for potential NVL

Understandable sadly I don't have a recording of the scenarios I'll make sure to record them and post them in a ticket in the future though
