24/7 being removed from people with "felons"

I post this from my own POV and no influence or knowledge from any other 24/7 or 24/7 store owner.

In the last 24-48 hours all stores that were owned by individuales with “felons” were contacted by COC and were told that due to a recent in-city changes “SACOR team” will be taking stores back from any owner who has a felon charge on their record. 

My overall feedback on this is quite blunt I will admit and will be first to say that I'm open to any response on this topic to maybe see the light from others POV. However this RP created from this new ruling is quite lackluster, un informative and overall kills a lot of peoples RP from which they have created from stores. To be told that in three days that your store will be taken from you and there is nothing you can do is definitely a stab in the back without any reasoning besides “to serve the state better and provide more opportunities to those who choose to be crime free.” 

I mention it kills a lot of peoples RP because for example. Myself and the store that I own (the one being behind VPD) has been operational in the city for just over a year now. The shop was one of the original stores to open and has always attempted to be at the forefront of attempting to provide for the community with both resources but also the entire reason that 24/7’s and business have contracts as well as constant interactions and that the soul reason EMS is involved with stores. The RP arch that the store has created has overall been something that I can personally say has been a big involvement in my character development and a focal point to be able to create constant interactions and RP with people in the city from ordering items from business and or speaking to COC in attempts to improve stores.

To cut something long to short and summarize what i'm getting at, to have the store removed without any actual RP besides a COC member coming and saying we are taking it is a disappointment. To not have any real consideration for each store separately and or giving the owner an opportunity to change how they operate is really demotivating especially as stated above. It's been an entire year spent developing RP down this avenue but because some stores are profiting a lot we all face the consequence is dissatisfying.

All I ask is for this to potentially be rethought and find a different or better approach to create RP for everyone instead of killing a large amount of people’s.
