Store Robberies

Having an issue where the the past few times I have gone to rob a convenience store, I'm able to break registers but every time I attempt to put the code in for the safe, it follows with "unable to open this", with of course bringing the safe cracking tool. It also prompts this sometimes with the registers as well.
