Someone else sat in the drivers seat?

After my friend accepted the request to join the group, when he sat in the drivers seat, it said we failed saying "Someone else sat in the drivers seat! Aborting contract!" This has never happened before and I lost my SVC. I don't know whether it has been changed or not.
