Radio clicks when out of range to hear talking.

This is just something, which personally annoys me as it gives me a headache.

Now I know I can turn off the radio, but when you're out of range to hear people talking, shouldn't you also not be able to hear people clicking to talk on the radio?

Just makes sense for the radio itself to be totally silent until you're in range to pick up a signal.
