Pilots License

I think the pilots license should only be revoked if you get caught in a plane related crime like if you were to get caught doing a job and escaped by plane, stole a plane etc. This would give Pegasus more business but also have a risk reward for crims to look at it as a high risk high reward escape scenario for large jobs. There could be other rules and stipulations maybe bargaining power with the cops to not get it taken away under certain circumstances like community service etc. instead of it being automatically taken away. This would be more in line with real life as you can get a pilots license as long as you haven’t been arrested on drug or alcohol related crimes. (TLDR I think the current system is too harsh on the player)

    This is an IC issue. There is nothing stopping you from flying in general, but renting will obviously check to see if you have a license.

    But like I said, an IC issue.

    There was a discussion around this at the time that it was implemented.

    It basically comes down to "but I didnt use it for xyz" and the hassle that would come from it. Because then others could argue "I didnt use a gun for this robbery, why did I loose my weapons license".

    And it was ruled to be a civilian perk.

    There was a conversation about it in the employees section of the pegasus discord that echos what was mentioned above.

    And how would people not loosing their licenses give Pegasus more business?

    We make most of our money from flight certs, so if you do a dumb and loose it, we still are 8-20k richer from you getting your cert.

    We still sell aircraft to felons, we just strongly advise you have a clean pilot to fly it, or the engine will stall. And at this point, if you get it impounded or crushed, then that's on you.
