Phone Crashing after searching contacts

Description: Upon searching your phone contacts, if you input the character [ (might be other ones too), it will completely crash your phone, leading you to have to relog to restore it.

Reproduction Steps:

1. Open Phone

2. Go to contacts

3. Type the character '[' into the search bar

4. phone dies

Expected Behaviour: For the phone not to crash

Actual Behaviour: The phone crashed
