Overdue Finance Bug in LSRS App
Description: When a finance is overdue it is not showing as red in the LSRS app. My character works for D8 and has to manually check if people have paid off their finance by asking them to show a picture of their LSRS app. This time when someone sent a photo of it not being paid off , the number was not red and it was past the due date.
Reproduction:
1. Purchase a property with financing.
2. Do not pay it off by the due date.
Expected Behavior: The numbers should show as red in LSRS app .
Actual Behavior: The numbers do not show as red in the LSRS app.

The D8 computers need fixed/overhauled in general. I apologize for hijacking the comment, and I really want to make sure my frustration is not directed at any individual characters/peoples. But your issue feels like the cherry on the top of some issues I've noticed with D8. At least from the client side - and if I'm frustrated, I'm sure other D8 workers are either aware of or also feeling the frustrations.
I almost lost property because of the manual verification - got the IC text the night before leaving on OOC vacation. If I hadn't had an urge to fly in and check before going to bed, I'd have lost my property through no fault of my own. It's also happened to pals of mine who had paid off property, took a brief break in the city, and came back to no property. They don't fly in anymore, and I don't blame them. People get so excited and work so hard for their properties, and to lose it through no fault of their own due to technical errors on the real estate side.... it's disheartening.
At the minimum, D8 agents should be disclosing upon a financed sale that, at the end of the financing period, buyers will be required to submit manual verification of paid off debts. Also, the manual verifications should arguably include emails (thru Discord) as well as texts. Properties are large enough assets and deserve due diligence; when collectors want the money they're owed, they exhaust every avenue to get it. I'm not saying D8 needs to bend over backwards, but they could absolutely do more to ease frustrations on all end - debts get paid, buyers keep property, profit????
Ideally, D8 computers get fixed and they can do automatic verification (like what happened with the first property I bought).
Ultimately, though, this "collection" burden should be removed from D8 employees entirely. Maybe it's time to implement some sort of financing/bank roleplay, let those people hunt down past-due payments. I can't say I've ever had an IRL real estate agent hound me about paying my mortgage on time.
