New Racing Head Host
Can we get a new racing head host that hands out sponsors to players that deserve it because the current head host literally is the least involved person in the racing scene as of right now and its ruining racing rp as a whole because there's no incentive for people to try race because opens dont give out nearly as much svc compared to sponsor races and most races nowadays are opens due to lack of sponsors, which also makes it harder to get into the racing scene as there's like 2 sponsors that are kinda active so its not easy to get a sim. Would make sense for the head sponsor person to be someone who actually wants to be involved in the racing scene. Retro :]

so from my experience its not specifically the racing head that's the issue but racing in general and lack of filters that's causing racing to be dead. All the sponsors had a talk about a month ago or so about the state of racing and how you cant really blacklist / officially stop someone from joining the race if they arent a good sport/ competent driver. I don't know the racing head personally but most of the sponsors are choosing not to sponsor as a result of the racing scene being so open, and free for anyone regardless of what their skill level is. I also think that combined with the lack of profit they make from racing kind of killed the racing scene. and problem is when sponsors see the race scene being dead they don't want to sponsor, then people see there's no sponsors and don't want to join races. its all a loop. They need to rework racing. I already have a really good suggestion about this and I was shot down but a reputation system would both revive and filter out the racing scene. Not just allowing anyone who has 150 svc to their name in the race.

I believe the racing scene has been tarnished in my opinion. I feel like anyone can get a sim, what I mean by that is, that some people don't even care about having fun and they just want to the get win. By allowing this, some people are crashing into others and not even caring about their surroundings in general. Even though it's mentioned near enough before every race to check on others if you crash. I've been crashed into many of times by racers during them and while I'm just driving around normally they've just carried on like nothing happened. I understand desync is a thing but sometimes it just looks like a skill issue in my opinion.
I've personally stepped away from it because of people having egos in general when I'm just there to have fun and have a laugh. hopefully, there's a new head host who'll treat the racing scene with respect and do something with the people who are causing shit for everyone else in the city. I've spoken to people in city about the racing scene and all I've heard is negative stuff. Hopefully, the name can be turned around.

I use to race all the time and havent since returning because I keep hearing in the city about this issue. I always loved the 15-20+ races

yeah, now its rare to see anything more than 10 people, the racing scene in echo is at its lowest point right now and it feels like no one cars about it other than the actual hard core racers.
