Metal Detecting

When i go metal detecting I get the green circle to dig but when I do nothing happens. i just get a message that i cant dig there.

steps:

1. took metal detector out of my pockets and used it.

2. walked until i saw the green circle so i could dig

3. used my shovel that i have in my pockets.

expected: to dig and find items in the sand.

actual behavior: I get nothing and there is no dig animation. but there is no error message as shown when i took at screenshot of my f8 menu.
