Link up app is busted

I tried sharing my Link up app code, and for my entire UI/HUD disappeared and my cursor was on screen and I couldn't move, put my phone away, use the f3 menu, (or any menu for that matter) I couldn't pause, I couldn't even hit ALT + F4, I had to get out of the game by using Task Manager.
