Description:
PD K9s cannot detect meth baggies on a person or in a car. Handler had k9 sniff a person with 30+ baggies on their duffel bag. Nothing was smelt. Then we removed those bags from the duffel bag and sniffed them. Still nothing was smelt. Same was tested in the car and same result. Not sure if this is intended as meth is known to have a strong chemical smell.
(That’s what google said, I never sniffed meth lol)
With all the different types of meth, not sure if its either indeed or linked to a specific type of meth.
Reproduction:
Be a K9
Third eye person/car to sniff
Get message “An interesting odor can be smelt” if drugs are on the person or in the car or “Nothing can be smelt” if drugs are not on the person or car.
Expected Behavior:
Get a positive message showing that drugs are on the person or in the car (an interesting odor can be smelled)
Actual Behavior:
Get a negative message indicating no drugs on the person (nothing can be smelt)
