Items Disappear From Storage Safe

Description:
I've recently went into a stash in a house to look for a collectable. I specifically put it in the very bottom left spot and when I went to find it - it was nowhere to be found. Although the weight for the storage shows 40.75/2,000 even though the items that are shown only amount to 4.75. Not sure if this particular storage has had it's slots changed but it's still technically "holding" the item. The storage container is the large black standing safe- https://i.imgur.com/qiuegtL.png

I will also add I moved an item around to every slot in it to see if it was just being invisible and to see if moving something to that slot would make it switch places with the other object.

Reproduction Steps:

Not sure you can reproduce this as it seems to have happened from a change in a script?

Expected Behaviour:

Open storage and be able to see and grab all items.

Actual Behaviour:

Open storage and the items that you can see and grab don't amount to the weight it is meant to - lost items.
