Impound Notification

Phone Notification of car/bike impound

Having a text message being sent to the user's phone to inform them that their vehicle has been impounded, will help to give them some clarification as to what happened to their car, bike or truck, for example.

The only way currently to find out how much a fine is or the duration of a state impound is to have a law enforcement officer look through the MDT for you.

A message like below could be sent:

"Your vehicle has been impounded!

A fine of $5,000 needs to be paid, upon its release, in [x] hours.

[x] strike points has been added to your vehicle's registration history"

Something along those lines, for example.
