Gas station volume/price tied to trucking

I’m not sure if gas prices are tied to trucking. If it is sorry for this suggestion as I was unaware.

But if not, it would add more interaction and purpose to trucking if a station’s prices and available gas were tied to deliveries of fuel to it.
Is a station not getting gas delivered? Prices go up as it runs out, and eventually has no fuel to supply anyone at that location.

If this isn’t a thing, this would give more ‘real world’ interaction and purpose to trucking the tanker trailers to each station as you know it is more than just a way of income you are providing fuel that gets used by other citizens, and cause us to see more truck drivers coming out to Sandy and Paleto.
