Game Overhaul
Delete if not allowed but I have to name the server where my idea came from. admins/mods if you could just search on yt for what i'm talking about even if you delete this post, just so y'all have the idea. NoPixel recently announced "NoPixel 4.0" with a MASSIVE overhaul to graphics for the world, cars, weapons, etc. My suggestion was for Echo to do something similar, just breathes new life into the game with some modernization.
An overhaul refreshes the game. Bringing new ui, new mechanics (like in nopixel 4.0 guns become world objects. You can visually throw them and they will appear as a physical object in the world that can be interacted with) modern graphics to make cars, people, and the world look more realistic, more immersive. and many other benefits.
Ofc one could say "if that server has it, just go play there" but the reality is, EchoRP has by far the best community (in my opinion). Little to no toxicity, active staff working on events for us to partake in, and rpers dedicated to this niche. I would honestly place EchoRP as top 1 (if not then a top 3) best RP servers to call home.

PinnedWe have to be careful when taking inspiration from other servers. They did a great job with this update, but making massive changes to the world, adding high quality cars, weapons, etc... is something that can have a great effect on the performance of your game.
It's easy for us to add mapping changes, but it can lead to texture loss, impact those with lesser powerful PCs and takes a lot of time.
Furthermore, we already have a wonderful selection of maps and weapons. We are working hard to bring imports to the server too.
For us, forcing extremely high graphics to every client is not a priority. It's cool and nice to have, but requires you to have a beast PC to maintain over 60 FPS. Every NoPixel player is a streamer with a streamer PC and powerful gaming PC.

As for UI changes, we have a state of the art UI which I still consider to be better than any other server out there.
Overhauling existing features provides 0 roleplay for you and changes nothing except provide a refresh. No point changing what is not broken when that effort and time can be placed elsewhere.
Our team is already working on an update which actually makes a difference to your Roleplay.

I also see no Roleplay benefit to being able to throw your items. This has been something we could have added years ago, but we feel other parts of Echo can be better focused on. It's also very difficult to maintain. Any item we add would have to have a physical equivalent.
