Fishing Speed Bug - Too Fast and Uncontrollable

When fishing with any rod, tried normal fly etc and all the same results, the bar moves waaaaay too quickly to be controlled its like riding a bucking bull at high speeds. The work around I have found is to open my camera app on my phone and it slows it down to be controllable but I have been told its slower than normal still.

Steps to reproduce would be

Step 1) Be Me

Step 2) Try and fish

Step 3) Hold on for dear life

Step 4) Open camera app on phone to slow down rod

I have attached a video to show you exactly how it feels when I do not have my camera open before the recording kicked in I had just walked up and used my rod to start fishing.
