Experienced a New Inventory Bug

went to recycling and moved a bunch of copper into my pockets and on the last stack of 50 the remainder of the materials were placed into my pockets without moving them. Once i went to actually trade them to the recycling man the remainder that moved without my input were missing from my inventory.
