EMS EVOLUTION.
So, from what I’ve seen EMS only get calls for downed officers as well as sit at pillbox earning money by selling medicine etc.. And as such others that are doing a task on their own have to either lay down and bleed out until a miracle happens or they dial 911. Now WHAT IF, EMS got calls for downed individuals all around the city including officers.
This will open MASSIVE opportunities around the city for some great medical RP between both crims/civs/cops and much more such as expanding their roster and so on.
For Example: Gang war —> cops arrive —> downed suspects found —> Cops either reach out to EMS radio / EMS gets notifs and get in contact with cops letting officers at scene reach out once its safe to move in if they arrive and it happens to be a shootout so their lives are also not in danger. —> Cops set up a triage for EMS and the Medical RP begins!
Not sure how communications between EMS and Cops work but having a global EMS radio channel as well as a LSPD/BCSO one for both to communicate only when needed would be great. EMS Heli Certification could be used when people are all the way up in paleto/sandy or if they fall of mount chilliad and way more. Just endless RP possibilities in my opinion and would love to see EMS involved more around the city.

The best way I’ve seen this work is if you have a phone or radio you can get a press e to alert ems then an ems is on the way message

If and when u do 311/911. When EMS clicks the ”respond” button on MDT, it sends that theyre onthe way to the patient.

EMS has all of this, us getting notified of calls is in that players hands. They have to do /911 or 311 in order for us to get a call. It aint just PD. We have all kinds of certifications and vehicles, like the mediheli.
We dont get money from selling medbags, bandages etc. It is not just ”sitting at pillbox”, but I get it - it’s things everyone dont see if they just beep in for treatment.
The massive opportunities for rp youre talking about unfortunately isnt just up to us, its a two way street and everyone isnt about medical rp. Which again is okay.

Yeah shouldve done more research, its just i havent experience any medical RP to know what goes on hence, this post, tho /311 should be written next to the incapacitated message since not many know about it.

With how the system works in Echo, Individuals can call for EMS by using 311 and saying anything along the lines of an injury. IE - Starving, eaten by a murdermeow, crashed out, blown up.
If your in a mountain area though, or been ocean dumped, You can only call in a 311 if you can physically see a local to make the call - “/311 Local reports seeing an injured person”
PD have access to EMS radio so they can alert EMS to calls involving officers, but EMS wont go to the call without a 311 from PD so they have the location, and so they know that the area is secure. PD auto triage at calls they’ve attended/been a part of, so MedRP is already started by time EMS arrive.
Angel/Mercy Certifications (Heli’s) are used for both Mountain calls, and Mass casualty events already.
The biggest thing EMS struggles with is being used as healbots, and burnout.

Forgot to add: EMS could get some paychecks per person attended to if not already implemented. AND a small kiosk near nurse Nancy could be added where balloons and flowers as well as get well soon cards and bandages could be sold.
