Create an Off-Duty government job title

Reason : Create an off duty job title so govt employees aren’t always visible on the MDT

Explanation: can there be an “off duty” job, in title only, given to government employees, mainly police and medical, so they can sign into it when in the city, but not working? It always feels like big brother is watching and aware of you when in city and, in my case, as example, causes anxiety because you always feel the pressure and guilt of needing to work. Plus, it will help stop the off-duty pings some have dealt with in the past. This job app should only be given to and accessible by govt employees. You can make this accessible only to fully hired, non-probationary stage govt workers to help prevent abuse

Summary: The “off-duty” job doesn’t exist, but is an app that govt employees can choose to sign into and visually remove themselves from the MDT

    +1 I have been specifically hired from another job under "hiding from the world" job rank so I can really go "off duty" without being bothered.
    Toggle at the front desk in PD and in Hospital would work. This toggle could be 10-41 / 10-42. If you are 41 - on duty - if you are 42 - off duty and won't even show in MDT.
    10-7 / 10-8 can remain the same.

      I actually work at the hospital, toggling off duty actually doesn't remove me from the MDT, just shows me 10-7 and I have another job for this purpose, but the point I was trying to make is we shouldn't have to have another job for this purpose. It would be much simpler to have a 'visual off-duty toggle' we can use. I will try vpd, however and see what that does.

    If the mdt could remove off duty people from unavailable units that would help.
