Cargo Run not taking anything

I was doing cargo and got down to my last 2 boxes, I went to a guy and gave him a box but he didn't take anything or give me anything... I thought maybe I was lagging so I took another box from the van and gave it to him, yet still got nothing in return. I didn't lose and money and I didn't gain any money, now there's no boxes in the van and I can't drop the van off to get the money back for it.

Idk if this is a new issue or it's happened before, but this has never happened to me and I think it's starting to scuff.

The marker is still on the map, the guy is still there, and I still technically "own" the van, I stole another car thinking it would cancel the run but it didn't.
