Booting Job Notification Spam

When I’m doing the Vehicle Booting job in the Linkup app, I’ll receive 100s of notifications saying “No vehicles in Area, Take a drive around and we’ll locate one” even when I’m actively booting a car. I’m not sure if this is purpose or a bug, but it is quite bothersome. Is it possible to tone down these notifications to once every 1-2 minutes or even longer? I can’t even see my speedometer when I’m driving because my phone is just constantly popping up with this notification.
