Boosts should not be handed in instantly and have a timer.

Description: Boost should not be handed in instantly, instead have some timer which is interrupted if cops are nearby. - e.g 60 seconds wait before car is taken by the local.

How to reproduce issue:

Not sure, I was told the boost vehicle suppose to blow up if cops are near by when boost is handed in - this doesn't seem to be the case.

  1. Do a boost

  2. Remove tracker

  3. Lose cops for 10 seconds

  4. Hand in the boost with cops being 10 seconds away

  5. Car and the npc driver poofs and I assume it also gives out reward.

Expected result:

Handing in boost should be interrupted when cops are nearby.

    Anyone who hands in a boost while still being actively chased should be reported

    Just a couple ideas/thoughts… And this is from someone who has played both crim and cop.

    1. But maybe a final few hacks that they have to complete to finish the boost (that don’t alert the cops to a location) instead of having just Air-1 overhead. Having to have ground units should be necessary.

      That way it gives time for all parties to finish. If they leave the area while doing those final hacks, then they lose the boost. That way crims are more careful when they are dropping off a boost.

    1. Also, it could be similar to chopping the car. So it gives the cops a chance to stop the boost if they actually do find them. They have to chop the car without breaking immersion with it just poofing away. Once again, requires ground units.

    Air-1/Valk-1 from my view should only be used as a UAV. Not as a stopping point for people. If the crims thinking they’ve lost the ground units enough to chop the car or put in another couple of hacks, then all power to them. Risk-reward :)

    We had a A class i think it was, get handed in on popular street when we where a. had air right above em and b. round the corner, which is honestly pretty shitty
