Boost failed after lockpick (Honda CBR)

So this was my boost, but I wanted to hack so I had someone else drive. I lockpicked the bike, got on the bike, lockpicked to get keys, got off and let him sit down and handed him keys. Basically the second we started driving away I got a message on my phone saying "Get lost. You failed me." I've done plenty of boosts these past few days where driver/passenger have swapped after lockpicking with zero issues, and for some reason this time when we started driving I failed. We got to the spot within about 5 minutes of me accepting it (we drove from the casino to the boost spot near AE).

Also after I got that fail message we were able to drive the bike around for a few minutes and both of our games crashed. Neither of us saved crash logs because we suck (I just close it out of habit most of the time), but not sure if that had anything to do with anything or just irony.
