Binoculars seems scuffed!?

When I pull out the old creepers, its like the Hud gets scuffed and I cant put them away again!?

The only way I find I can out of the animation seems to be via “x” and “u”, so hands up and then fall to the gound.. And then the Hud disapears.

Lemme know if im in the wrong here.
