Bank Breaching
Suggestion Description: banning bank breaching with a hostage no matter what circumstance
Reason:
As of recently, I have been to a few different bank robberies as PD and I personally feel like bank breaching prioritizes gun play over role play and to be completely honest, completely risk the hostages life and I think that it should be written in the rules, that no matter what situation bank breaching is a no go, especially with hostages involved.

I play a crim and I’ve also played a cop. I know that cops are very selective about when they breach. They don’t breach for just the hell of it or even if they get the hint that there’s a new hacker. They give people a chance because they enjoy the RP chase and they enjoy the banter at banks.
While do I kind of find it odd from an RP perspective, some cops tend to not value hostages lives by some things they say OR when cops act like the hostage is just a “tool” for the bank, that stuff just needs to be brought up in a ticket.
But banning breaches would be just silly. There are definitely situations that criminals are putting the life of the hostage in more of harms way than the cops breaching. Or asking for crazy demands such as “Bring us a drill to help us rob the bank” and then the crime getting angry from there when they’re told no.

I was involved in a bank recently where the first responding officer, John Justice, came in and started speaking extremely hostile saying that “i’d hate to breach another bank today” , and stuff along the lines of he’s already breached 2 banks today, and killed 2 people in the process while he was the only one there for about 5minutes, we almost decided to say fuck this bank and just down the hostage and him in the process and then leaving to make a point that you shouldn’t be saying dumb shit when we clearly have the upper hand. I know it was very upsetting from a hostage standpoint because you’re truly just risking their life to show how big your dick is.

I 100% agree with this, and that is why I am addressing my concerns as someone who rps has a LEO heavily in echo.

gonna be honest, that may be something to handle in a ticket for not valuing a hostage’s life in order to do some frat boy flexing. i don’t think banning breaches is the way to go, but officers shouldn’t act unprofessionally regarding it and it shouldn’t be a common thing to do (unless crims are constantly hurting hostages, but i doubt that’s the case)
