Add a rule against using the word "Nightmares"
This word has always irked me and it just breaks immersion so bad. What do you MEEEEAN why you say "I have nightmares at ___" or "oh i cant do this I'm having nightmares". People say it in Echo so much. You don't have to say nightmares-- you can say other terms that aren't immersion breaking like "I have plans" or "I'm gonna be busy then". Even if this doesn't get added to the rules I'm begging HANDS AND KNEES to everyone reading this to please stop saying it please please please I'm losing my mind.

Annoying/scuff? sure.
But so are so many other words people use that are accepted.
Ghost locals,
In my eyes,
Look through your eyes,
Third eye it,
Etc.
There is always a better way to phrase something.
But making it a rule break is pushing it.

Ok but the difference is that those words are explaining mechanics of the game instead and “nightmares” is literally referring to someone’s ooc life obligations like work or college or whatever the case is. It’s really immersion breaking and disruptive :/

We're actually not supposed to say in my eyes anymore. And ghost locals used to be acceptable because it was in the rules but it no longer is. People need to be more creative.

I would be inclined to agree that I think there's so many better ways to say you just won't be around, like saying you just won't be around. 'I have stuff/things to do tomorrow', 'I'll be busy, sorry.' you could even RP that your character works out of town and give them a fake job.
Saying you have nightmares is very jarring and literally cringe.

I can understand the annoyance brought on by it, but I feel making it a rule, or one against it rather, is a little far out there.
