To Grind or Not to Grind: The Post-Wipe Apocalypse

I think one of the biggest issues both the staff and the players have been feeling is the pay. Flawws said he wanted a server without grinding, but instead, he turned the city into a grind-mindset server.

Since the wipe, the companies of EchoRP have no freedom whatsoever. Their pricing is dictated, as well as commission, etc. Any place that isn't a Government run facility or the casino is being screwed. The business committee has been ignoring the cries of the business workers, owners and even the citizens.

For example, Mecca is the heart of Mech Shops, which makes it a crucial business in EchoRP's day to day function. Without Mecca, Mech shops pricing will double and thus; Citizens won't be able to afford the already expensive internals. For a regular post-wipe Benny's order (which is roughly ~3500 material), it will take 5-6 of us 3-4 hours to make that ONE order. Aside from scrap trucks and crew cab, we have no other storage than one singular storage holding 5000 (=2500 mats). Why is it fair that workers at Mecca have to grind for HOURS just so the business can barely stay afloat, while Casino Workers make over 500$ a tick.

Going to the casino problem; Having Sass/Astrid own the casino is honestly the smartest play Flawws and the rest of the team could've made. Having such a powerful business under the care of the Sr. Admin was the smartest and safest move. But what most people don't understand is why half the casino roster are "dangerous felons"/Triads. The casino refused felons (minus Triads) and only hired a select few people who did not already have close connections with Astrid, Kylo or the Triads. And thats not even the main concern; Casino workers shouldn't be making $500+ a tick for just sitting there, staring at people, and taking peoples money to get "VIP" to the front of the wheel. People who work at a casino as security shouldn't be making as much as someone high up in PD or in any other gov. job. The 26+ employees at the casino are insanely rich at this point, and if Flawws is so concerned about the economy, he should be looking there first.

We know why people in PD, EMS, DOJ, etc make so much money. But people who sit in the cells shouldn't be making over $1000 a tick while other businesses get fucked. If one side of the pond can make it, they shouldn't ruin the server for the other businesses who want to have fun, make some money, and overall: Roleplay. Because at the end of the day, its a RP server, and it shouldn't feel like a chore to wake up in EchoRP just to work.
