Description: I have some ideas that I believe will help mitigate how long the queue times are and will post below.
1. SSD cards that are expired can still be used which inflates the amount of people able to queue for jobs
2. Too many Fleeca SSD cards being sold on the BM. Currently there are 17 up for sale for 3,000 EVC. I suggest either adjust the amount of SSD cards on the BM or increase the EVC count to 6-8k. Currently EVC has almost no value so people have a lot
3. People can solo queue for jobs and hold for others and/or have a better chance at sniping. Im willing to be someone in a group is "holding" a spot for others to get the job meaning a team of four could be first in queue and their 5th friend be 2 or 3rd in queue for the same job and inviting them to that job once the job pops. This technically wouldnt break a rule as that second job will pop after their cooldown has been served. Meaning that the same group can technically hit more than one job before others in queue
4. Add failures to banks. Currently you can fail the hack a million times and keep going which means people can spend a long time at a bank before the chase. I think the chase/plan should usually be the longer portion of the scene. I think a perfect adjustment would be this for Fleeca's, swap green card and USB device. The second hack to open the vault in my opinion is more difficult than the last hack of a fleeca so allow people to have 3 chances per green card for that hack where people will probably bring more than one card (Which is fine) but the last hack require the USB device and you get 3 chances only. If you fail to count the exact numbers on three attempts then you fail the bank and only get out with one tray. Vault timer to open should be brought down to 3 mins. The hacks are already taking enough time for cops to show.
5. No self imposed cooldown for D-B boosts. Maybe D-C and allow D-B boosts (No vin scratch boosts) allow to pop based on time and not cop availability if it is not already. Having Boosts weigh in on the big job queue I think is a bit much if thats the case
6. Allow for groups to queue for houses while in queue for banks
7. Bring back a timer to collect money from stores. 3 mins I think is fair. Currently people solo hit stores with 1-2 people no hostage because its an easy smash and grab.
8. Linkup app to tell you where you are in position for that specific job. Example, 7/10 for jobs but 2/3 for fleeca.
9. We should be able to queue for a job even when the job is on hold
Reasonings:
1. If SSD cards expire but can be used, then the SSD market is inflated
2. Similar to #1, this creates an inflation to who can hit the banks which plays a factor in queue times as the accessibility to hitting jobs is too easy
3. Solo people hitting jobs shouldnt be a thing. Holding jobs for people who have already took their turn. Its like butting in line for a rollercoaster after you just went (I believe this and #1 is a bug and devs are aware)
4. Failures to banks will increase skill and risk. This will also combat the economy as itll be more rewarding and difficult to hit banks. Making a group look for a more skilled hacker and banks not last as long. The 5 min timer in the back for the vault should be taken down to 3 mins.
5. While in Queue, it is not very precise with when you are up next as you cannot tell when queue you are with that job but rather all jobs combined which means you can pop in 30 mins or 3-4 hours. This puts people in a weird state of roleplay. Example, last night we were 6 in queue, figured we could do a small C boost but once the boost was completed, our bank popped which means we cannot accept the job we waited 4 1/2 hours for. I dont believe D-B boosts will mess with the economy and most already dont have cop presence and already have a mechanic cooldown in place to stop you from spamming boosts.
6. Gives groups more to do while waiting
7. People are solo 1-2 hitting stores with no hostage because of how easy it is to smash and grab. With a 3 min timer, itll allow cops AND/OR store owner/employees to arrive and create a better roleplay experience doing this job.
8. If I knew I was 2nd in queue for a fleeca and see it drop to 1 in queue for fleeca but 5th in queue for all other jobs, Id have a better understanding of when my job would pop verses the current iteration of the app.
9. Getting in queue has zero effect on PD and anyone else. Because I cannot queue up for a job when the job is on hold then it forces me to stalk the app for it to take off hold. The app comes off hold for about 3 mins every hour. Its almost always on hold
