Making Civ Jobs more Worthwhile
As a new person in the City the jobs available to me as a starting point feel...empty? They don't earn good money, they aren't particularly enjoyable to do and they aren't very engaging. It seems the city is very geared towards crime or RP roles which aren't everyone's cup of tea.
My suggestion is to potentially add more mini games similar to done with Electrician and connecting wires, or trash where you have to actually collect trash. Maybe something like a maze game for water and power where you try to get to the end within a time period to keep the user engaged and actually wanting to do the jobs available to them. This has been seen in other cities and people enjoyed it so could potentially do well here! As well as potentially allowing them to earn more, instead of water and power being around $150 on average increasing it to 200 or even 300, which would potentially see an increase in people engaging with these types of jobs as well as providing a living for people who aren't interested in crime or haven't been able to get a RP based job

The trash job does allow you to pick up trash bags. I do agree though, that you should probably be able to empty the small trash bins as well, which are seen standing in front of houses. It would make it a bit more easier, because sometimes it’s quite cumbersome to find trash bags and especially in a bigger amount.
Since you have two hands, you should of course also be able to carry two bags. At least of the smaller ones. The big white ones should probably be one.
The payout itself, while not super high, is ok for me. I can easily make 1000+ in an hour driving taxi and about 1500 in 90 minutes doing trash. This works well with shop items etc. But not so well with player items. For example, I went to an event at VU. The entry was 750$ which is a lot of money for a civ doing taxi or trash. Then food sold at the bar is 20$+ and for drinks it’s also 20$+. So spending there two hours, eating and drinking plus admittance. Is easily 1000$. On my opinion that’s too high. PD or EMS can probably pay it easily. But if you drive taxi or do so trash, that’s a lot of money.
Plus even without going to an event, you have coats. Fuel, probably healthcare, food and drinks, taxes. Like I said, I haven’t had issues with it mostly. But being a civ makes it very hard to attend some of the bigger events, where entry is 2000$, 3000$, or 7000$+. I played about two weeks. I got a car but no place. I drive taxi and so trash. I managed to get 12k in bank and 2000$ in cash. Out of this I won 500$ in the casino. It is ok, if I was just living in the city. But if I would go to the event tomorrow, and pay the entrance fee at the door, I would be without of money pretty much.
