Gang tax locations
Gangs should not be able to tax/have territory on major game mechanics like the money vans/pawn shop runs things like that where everyone has to go to make money.
In my opinion I just think spots like that should be off limits for gangs since a lot of jobs give you loose notes or stacks/rolls of cash. I personally don’t think it is realistic for a gang to be able to taxi everyone in the city that does a money run just because they have their territory where the money van spot is.
There is a gang that has their territory right on top of the money van spot and on multiple occasions I have seen them try to go up to a group of 3-4 people solo and try to either get them to pay taxes and or rob them. I have also seen this gang stop money vans out in the city to rob/tax them. I don’t think this spot should be able to be taxed let alone be gang territory since it is such a big game mechanic.

100% agree that this needs to go. I just love to be stop mid cargo runs not even on their “turf” anymore to be taxed. It’s LQRP

I agree gangs should not be able to tax spots like that. it seems really scummy and lazy that a gang would even set up in a location everyone has to go too just to tax them. I know what gang is by the money cleaning spot and they are exstreamly annoying with how they go about taxing every one. it kinda runins a big part of the game if you get hunted down because you either didn't pay or they see you leave in a van. its a huge mechanic of the game that effects a lot of jobs too, house robberies/banks/car chopping/cutting cats/boosting and probably more. gang should not be able to tax such in important spot.

i believe it's a rule for gangs to provide RP when taxing a spot. if you think they're not providing RP and using it rather as passive income, feel free to report.

100% agree.
Taxing in my opinion is a lazy and scummy way to gain more money. I 100% see it as robbing someone with LQRP. If there was a system in place where gangs could fight for the right to tax it like trap houses have or how other cities have safe/warehouses then I would understand a bit more as there "more" to it and I 100% support gangs needing more to do and fight for but the truth is gangs are simply not fighting for spots and just rolling up saying hey we tax this. 99% of the time its their group vs a solo guy trying to make money.
Now I will say, I havent seen much taxing since returning the past couple months so maybe I've been lucky but I've had my fair share of it with other groups and tickets being opened but said it was fine so I do think a change to taxing needs to be made unless theres a mechanic in the city to allow gangs to fight for ownership of it.
Maybe in the traphouses certain ones can give that gain "ownership" to tax X spot for 15 or 30 days and after their term, another gang potentially could raid it and take that traphouse over allowing them to gain the rights to tax said spot. Would love to see gangs have more to do
