Gang System Changes

New Gang System:

This change would involve 2 Major Additions to the server listed below that I think would revolutionize the Gang System and bring much needed changes:

New Turf/Gang Warehouse System:

All Gang’s now start with the a set amount of turf that they can draw around the block that they claim. This turf can be a certain amount of area devs determine and the starting amount of turf you can draw should be bigger than later when you unlock more. Through the gang app which has no been moved to the laptop Gang Leader’s can draw a line around the area they want to claim as there block (the initial area can only be as big as the script allows) and it will then mark it in the gang app where other gangs can view each others turf. After your initial turf has been claimed you now unlock the ability to buy a Gang Headquarters building that can be anywhere within your initial turf. Your initial turf cannot be stolen unless all other turfs surrounding are gone/nonexistent.

Now with access to a gang warehouse this unlocks several things. Inside the gang warehouse you will have a central computer system which among other things unlocks Daily and Weekly Quest’s. These quests can be claimed on your computer and then done with a group of 3-5 from your gang. My idea from the weekly quest would be going to the Carrier/FIB/Yacht and other big buildings and clearing out a large team of hard NPC’s to make it to the objective which is a crate that could reward decent rewards like thermite, a bank usb, some pistols, etc. After completing these quests you get gang points (Daily quests give you less than Weekly). After you rack up enough gang points you can use gang points to access a special crafting bench in your gang headquarters where you combine your points and materials to make valuable items whether that be heist materials, weapons, ammo, and more.

On top of that one of the items you can craft at this bench would be a “Turf Flag”. With this flag you could then go to an area you want to expand to and place it down on the ground next to your own turf. This would alert all other Gang’s on the gang app that someone is trying to claim an area of turf and send out an area to them. From their it’s up to these other gangs whether they want to contest it or not. If they successfully contest it they prevent that gang from expanding and cost them points. A successful contest can also mean gaining points for your own gang. You must however have a valid RP reason to contest someone’s turf. A gang must hold the flag area down for 30 min before it is fully claimed. After that they can then add the certain extra area to their turf map. All gangs should also have a max turf limit to prevent people from claiming too much area on the map. This turf system would also mean new gangs could negotiate or fight over a spot they want to take as there block and they can still technically live in another gangs turf but they wouldn’t get access to the gang warehouse because of that.

Expanding turf makes it so that no one can contest your main gang block without having to first go through your extra turf first (meaning extra defense). But the bigger your turf could also mean increased rewards from people selling drugs on your turf. Cheaper crafting in your gang headquarters and more depending on devs ideas.

The gang warehouse could also offer other things like communal storage space for the gang and a cash storage that rewards gangs for keeping money it by offering points depending on how much you put in but also offers risk by not allowing you to withdraw money immediately but by waiting a day. The points could work as such for the cash storage IE: 10 points for 50k 20 points for 100k 50 points for 200k and so on. Then in the future if ppl contest your main block turf they could actually attempt to raid your gang warehouse and steal the money from your cash storage.

The gang app with this should also see the addition of a chat system where you can write messages in the app for your members to read that save across restarts
