Full phasing choice for races
Possiblity to have the choice of doing full phasing for races or no phasing at all.
There is too much desync to be able to race without phasing, it ruins all the fun for people that have the slighest, to the most huge "bubbles".
At this point, it's all based on luck of how bad you desyncs are when you pass someone.
I think we already have enough with the locals, ghost locals and the other non racer that drive around to be worried about the guy racing 3 cars ahead because you can somehow telekinesistly send him to the shadow realm.
I get that passing is a skill in itself, but it would be a good argument if those desync weren't there because those make it a gamble, not a skill.
Cutbacks, divebomb, all that could be done and would be fun without them, but when you are on the opposite side of the road of someone and still hit him, this goes out the window.
Also, have a possibility to choose to have or not have the phasing, so people that wants to race without phasing can.

Part of being a good racer is learning how to pass people.. full phasing just makes it whoever has the better car wins. Not a fan

Well, you have to choice of :
Phasing : Privilege to the faster drivers, that have to know their line, but faster car can overtake easier (Which doesn't matter anyway because if there's a straight, it will be the case anyway)
No phasing : Privilege to whoever gets the launch of the starting line (So faster accelerating cars) because after that, unless they crash, there's no chance to ovetake them without crashing into them in small road / city races and they also have a clean road not having to worry about anyone 10 meters around them thinking they might bubble him.
I agree, passing is a skill, but not in those conditions... At this point, for a lot of people, it's just a gamble on the state of your desyncs and some don't even try overtaking anymore because they know, even if they have the skill to overtake clean, they will push him because of the desyncs.
Not being a fan of it is a thing, but not letting the choice to other who would rather have real battles (instead of just having to pray to not send a guy) but through phasing is an other.
My post here is to leave the choice to people when they host a race to have phasing or not for the whole race. If you don't like it, no one forces you to join it. Tho at this point, a lot of people are frustrated because they can't have fun racing because most of the races looks like a Spa Francorchamps "La Source" all along, and unfortunately, they are forced to endure it because no phasing is the only type of race available.
We could at least give it a shot, leave everyone decide what's their favourite, and if no one likes phasing races, no one will host them
