After the Civilian Update.

So with the very needed and appreciated civilian update coming soon I think we should have an overall health update for the server and a gang update that could easily be packed into one.

Right now there’s some major bugs involving crimes and some QOL adjustments that could be made if possible.

• BT scuff out ½ the time either not spawning or bags being unable to pickup.

• Boosts are spawning not on the ping and sometimes in the air.

• Boosts sometimes will not let you lockpick to enter requiring someone to place you in them.

• Allow other peolple to track cars from a garage and have them reappear rather than just the other.

• A lot of money trays either cannot be looted or just don’t spawn in fleecas paletos and PAC

Im sure there’s plenty of others but these are the ones I run into almost we’ve single day sure there’s

another subject in echo that feels completely dated are the Gangs. There seems to be a huge misconception in echo that to be a gang member is the same to be a criminal and that is entirely the fault of what echo gangs have to do. Echo has by far the best CRIME in any server right now hands down but the gangs and what they have to do is super limited in what they could provide for the server.

You have gangs that have been here for years and all of them agree that it’s just kind of waiting to do a job or have a petty beef start a war. There’s no system around anything that helps build the RP around these things.

The Gunplug system while appreciated could be completely revamped. Maybe have the yellow lit gangs have a gun plug but the green lit ones can have a bench if they choose so and can craft specialty weapons (with limitations) For example let them craft molotovs and only 5 SPs a week on top of the gunplug as a reward for loyalty to the server. This makes it so there’s an economy around gun materials and will promote way more business deals.

Gangs could also use unique warehouses that provide similar things to a trap house. The trap houses are so bleh right now and honestly there isn’t enough of them.

Add special events all gangs with a gang app can get pinged to and go to. There’s so much room for ideas here similar to the Dr. Lamb events that could bring so much more action to gangs and PD. Maybe a weapons shipment could be intercepted or drug/dirty money.

Allow raids on criminal locations to be leaked to 1-2 gangs to defend. Have the gunplug tell a gang “hey we caught wind chopping might get hit this weekend you guys and only fsm need to work together to protect it” this adds a level of attachment to a location as right now there’s none to any. Also promotes RP between gangs and gives PD action on raids. The last of them at general crim locations just turns into a stand

Speaking of the gang app is broken for most gangs showing the wrong picture and most roles do not work or how the hierarchy was supposed to be set up almost 7 months later.

Maybe add a way gangs can break down chop parts to promote RP between gangs and new crims rather then third eyeing a local npc for 6 loose notes.

right now gangs are just criminals with special clothing and that’s not entirely there fault. There just isn’t enough for them to do or diversify with. Every gang does boosting meth and jobs because that’s all they can do.

Most suggestions in the gang discord go unnoticed or even talked to by anyone with real power.
